Stephens Rigid Leather Curb Strap
The Stephens Rigid Leather Curb Strap has been designed to attach to pelham, elevator and ring gag bits without the use of a chain.
Under British Showjumping rules, Pelhams and bits with curbs may not be used with a chain when the measurement from the top of the mouthpiece to the top of the cheek ring exceeds 6cm. However, a leather stabilising strap such as this one may be used.
This leather curb strap is made from high quality leather, with a rigid leather pad in the centre, and buckles to the bit on each side.
The Stephens Rigid Leather Curb Strap is available in Black or Brown, with a choice of brass or stainless steel fittings.
